9. Installation Guide

It has been determined that there exist two solutions based on varying base wall conditions. Restating this information, it can be concluded that depending on the nature of the base wall, there are two possible solutions.

Installation on Uneven and Damaged Walls

To address uneven or damaged walls, a solution is to attach a wooden framework that will create a smooth surface for installing panels. The framework consists of wooden keels that are placed perpendicular to the panels. For instance, if the panels are oriented horizontally, the keels are oriented vertically. It is important to note that the wooden keels should not be spaced more than 40cm (16 inches) apart.

Installation on Flat Surfaces

If you have a flat and smooth wall, you can easily use an adhesive to install PVC panels without the need of a wooden framework. Additionally, you can also apply the panels straight onto ceramic tiles without removing them. However, for painted surfaces, it's crucial to prepare the surface properly before applying any adhesive to ensure the installation is secure.
